ELEGANCE ON THE COURT AND SELF-CONFIDENCE: Tennis and Self-Esteem

Tre tenniste con gli abiti da tennis sostenibili Laila Coslovich mostrano eleganza in campo e fiducia in se stesse

When I think of tennis, I see much more than a ball bouncing from one side of the court to the other. I see determination, style, character. I see women who every day choose to challenge themselves, not only against their opponent but also against themselves. It is to you, female tennis players, that I want to tell you who I am and why my work goes beyond a simple garment.

Tennis as an expression of one's identity

I am an entrepreneur who chose to transform my passion for elegance into a line of tailored Made in Italy tennis wear, crafted with care and attention to detail, using OEKO-TEX and Global Recycled Standard certified eco-friendly technical fabrics.

I deeply believe that what we wear on the court is not a detail, but an extension of our identity: the right cut, the fabric that moves with you, the color that expresses your energy.

Wearing something created with care makes you feel victorious and confident, even before you hit the first ball.

For this reason, I chose to create sustainable tennis wear that combines elegance, comfort, and quality, designed to accompany every woman during play and in everyday life.

When elegance meets self-confidence

But my mission doesn't stop there.

Beyond fashion, I have obtained certifications as a Professional Relational Coach and Leadership Trainer. Over the years, I have understood that to truly shine – in sports, at work, in life – talent or the right equipment are not enough.

A solid foundation of self-esteem, awareness, and healthy relationships, with others and especially with oneself, is needed.

The importance of feeling good about oneself

This is why I created tennis wear that not only enhances the silhouette but helps the wearer feel more confident, more present, more themselves.

For me, elegance also means authenticity: being able to say "this is me," without needing masks.

It means training the mind as much as the body, because every victory is born first within us.

There is nothing more powerful than a woman who believes in herself, who recognizes her own worth and faces every challenge with determination.

The value of authenticity

We live in a world that often pushes us to pursue external models of perfection. I believe, instead, that true elegance comes from the ability to be authentic.

Being authentic means feeling comfortable with who you are, valuing your strengths, and accepting your growth journey.

Every woman has a different story, a unique character, and a personal way of experiencing tennis. And it is precisely this uniqueness that deserves to be expressed, on and off the court.

Tennis as a metaphor for life

Tennis is a perfect metaphor for life: every lost point is an opportunity to learn, every victory comes from training and determination.

On the court, we learn to manage pressure, to accept mistakes, to get back up after a defeat, and to believe in our abilities even in the most difficult moments.

These are lessons that stay with us far beyond the baseline.

If we learn to support each other – on and off the court – there's no limit to what we can achieve.

Growing on and off the court

Training the body is important, but training self-confidence is just as important.

Every match, every training session, and every new challenge represents an opportunity to grow, improve, and become a more aware version of ourselves.

That's why I consider tennis much more than a sport: it's a school of life that teaches resilience, discipline, and confidence in one's abilities.
